ok, this thing is just cool. the pointer arrow get stuck on occasion, but I shack it a little and it pops back onto it's stud point. The sun dial actually works within 15 min or so (it's small hard to get a shadow). I really like mine, happy I bought it! Would make a great Yule present ;) knowing which way north is out in the woods makes you feel fancy
